The news of the day is that the chest tube came out yesterday (it was draining all the internal ick from the damage inflicted on the tissues by the jaggedy broken ribs) and that tomorrow or Wednesday Dad is expected to move to the Rehab center at the Pacific Campus of Providence Hospital in Everett.

Hi Barbara and Don,
I have been checking the blog everyday or so to see how things are progressing. I was out for a walk this afternoon and thought of your family; what a different Christmas celebration you are all having this year. I'm sure that the awareness of the blessing of family is more poignant. Praying for you and that your body will respond well to rehab. so that you can get back home ASAP.
