Tender Mercies is one of my favorites. I could watch it again and again (and have watched it again and again). Highly recommended.
Best trivia about the movie? The woman who plays Duvall's wife and her son were one-shot wonders, believe it or not. The only feature film they ever did... But aren't they great? Love the boy...
